We will be offering Children’s Programs during the morning service of Rosh Hashanah on September 9th and both morning and afternoon services of Yom Kippur on September 18th. Please sign up by completing the requested form/forms which are due in to the office by September 1st to ensure proper staffing.
For all Children’s Programming, please check in at the Information & Ticket table. You will be directed from there.
Babysitting
Ages 6 months – Pre-Kindergarten, 9:30 a.m. – the end of morning services
This program is provided by volunteers from Christ the King Lutheran Church with Jewish content provided by Beth Shalom volunteers. (Beth Shalom volunteers help them during Christmas.) Snack and toys will be provided for your children. You will be required to sign your child in and out with proper identification for security purposes. See on-line registration form. Please also bring a completed Child Care Form for each child, available on-line, from the office or at the Information & Tickets table.
Children’s Morning Service
Kindergarten – 5th grade 9:30 A.M. – 12:30 P.M. (start in babysitting room)

After their service on Rosh Hashanah, the Rabbi will send a messenger to bring the children upstairs to listen to the Shofar. We will be in the front row of the sanctuary. Please pick up your children there. On Yom Kippur, please come downstairs and sign your children out from the various classrooms. Children will not be allowed to leave until a parent has come to get them. See on-line registration form.
Children’s Afternoon Service – Yom Kippur only
Ages 2 to 7 years 5:45 p.m. to end of services
The children will be listening to stories and playing games with our Rebetzn in a downstairs classroom. At the end of services, they will rejoin us for the close of the Days of Awe. Please pick up your children in the front row of the sanctuary. See on-line registration form.
Youth/Teen Service
6th- 12th grade 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
A parent led hands–on High Holy Day related educational program. Teens are invited and encouraged to attend the regular service until 11:30. See on-line registration form.
